You would need to know the full time equivalent number of hours worked per week to work out what the hourly rate is - are full time employees 37 hours per week?

Thank you for your help.

£68.13 per week based on a standard 37.5hr week?

LightSpeeds · 02/10/2023 21:22

£295.25 per month

Also need to think about term time only - how many weeks a year you are paid for.

£20,441 divided by 52 divided by 37.5 (or hours per full working week) multiplied by 6.5 multiplied by 44 (or 39 plus holiday weeks) divided by 12. Approximately £250 a month

At that salary your hourly rate is £10.60/hour
You'll be working 6.5 hours a week for 43.6 weeks a year (38 weeks actually worked, plus 5.6 weeks notional holiday pay)
£10.6 x 6.5 x 43.6 = £3,004.04 p/a which is £250 a month - your annual salary will be spread over 12 months, so you'll be paid throughout the year, even if your not actually working in eg the summer holidays.
