NHS - Moving Trusts

Hi everyone.

I've been offered a job at another NHS Trust which is a lot closer to home for me compared to where I am now, so I'm taking it...

I just wondered how it worked with continuous service, will the date I started at my current place of work still count or will I have a new date once I move trusts?

I was thinking along the lines of the enhanced maternity, sick pay, etc.
Also do the sick days I've had for this holiday year at my current NHS trust, carry over to my new one? x

Your NHS start date will be the first date and providing you go to the new job without a big gap then you will get continous service. Annual leave will be worked out based on when you leave/ start.
