Entry level and remote!

I’m looking to get back to work after taking time out to be a SAHP. The difficult part is that it has to be entirely remote! I’m living in an EU county where my grasp of the language is not fluent enough for a career. It will be a career switch as I trained as a medical doctor (and wouldn’t be going back into this even if I was in the UK). My priorities are that it is flexible and done from home. My children are still very young and my husband works long hours/frequently away. I’m happy to do training first (although not another bachelors degree). I’ve done a lot of research on remote jobs and the sticking point always seems to be entry level roles require in office presence (which I completely understand). Can anyone give me any advice or share any experience of doing a career switch entirely remotely!

Anything in a contact research organisation- usually remote; medical monitor might suit you if a trained doctor

Might also be worth following this page on facebook if you're in it, she posts some excellent remote opportunities x

Might be easier to freelance - maybe offering tutoring or similar. We have some entry level roles that are remote but you need to be in the UK for tax reasons

Where are you advertising these vacancies Doveyouknow?

Doveyouknow · 16/09/2023 18:30

We just advertise on LinkedIn

I mean you’re likely massively over qualified but there are remote well-being practitioner roles and disability assessor roles. Also the government bootcamps online training for work in tech? Good luck x

You don't just need a remote job, you need a job where you can work remotely from abroad - that will massively restrict your options (but hopefully it helps you look for the right kind of role()
