Can anyone recommend free project management software?

I'm going around in circles trying to find some project management software that's free with a tick box to do list.

Basically I've just started a new job with multiple projects and I have to ensure that I receive and collate certain docs before passing the project on to my colleague.

It's a brand new role and there's literally paperwork and emails everywhere.

I'm WFH and 5 days in 😅 save me

If you use office 365 at work then there are tools built in that you can use depending on what you want to do.

Simple to do list with checkbox in Outlook or one note
Planner gives you the ability to create activities, assign to different owners, upload attachments to the activities and see a timeline

Trello also comes with a free version and is very straight forward

Simple to do list with checkbox in Outlook or one note this is exactly what I'm used to and have always done. But new job setup is Gmail (for business) and it's crap in comparison! I feel lost in a sea of data, forms and spreadsheets!!

I'm going to look at Office 365 because they said "were looking at Office 365!" So it might give me a head start

I didn't realise Trello was free! Thank you

Hey there! I totally get the struggle of managing projects, especially when it's a new role. I'd recommend checking out Trello – it's user-friendly, has a free version, and offers checklist features that could help you organize tasks. I've used it for personal and work projects, and it's been a lifesaver. However, if it's a service sphere, you could use this Desktop sphere. I hope that helps.
