Nude tights on job interview or bare legs?

I have job interview for a job in retail tomorrow after lunch.
I am planning to wear light material printed dress (knee length ) that has a long sleeves together with black ballet flats.
I was also planing to wear nude tights however I was told today that nobody wears them as seen too dated and bare legs are ok.
I always thought bare legs are seen unprofessional.
I would prefer bare legs as it will be hot weather but I don’t want to look unprofessional and stupid.

Bare legs are absolutely fine, I don’t think they will even notice.

I disagree with both of these. I think most people won't notice or care. I don't think they're massively dated (provided they aren't shiny) but I don't think they're at all necessary to look professional.

As someone who works in an office I think they are dated and look weird with summer clothes. they can look fine when it’s cold with darker colours though.

There is no definition of what "professional" means, it's a completely nebulous concept.

Is the job one where you'll be on your feet? If so, they might be more likely to size up whether you've chosen footwear suitable for that. That is the only observation I would make about your outfit choice.

I can't imagine caring whether someone was wearing tights or not.

If you turned up to an interview in tights in this weather I'd think you were mad 😃

Bare legs not a problem.
