Can anyone explain how bank holidays work in Boots stores? DS16 has recently started a part time job in a Boots store. His normal hours are Friday eve and Sunday but is doing extra hours in school holiday and he worked bank holiday Monday last week. He has been told by colleagues that he will be paid but the hours will also be deduced from his annual leave allowance? This doesn’t sound right to me. Have attempted to access his staff handbook to check but document won’t load on phone and he can’t log in on pc as password keeps being refused! Just wondering if anyone works there and can explain how it works.
