Worried about being portrayed as a Job Hopper

I have worked for the same organisation all my working life. I have moved departments to gain more experience over those years and what with life throwing some major curve balls I still haven't carved out a profession or career with my organisation as it has not been a priority over the years.

I have remained in a lot of my roles between 2-8 years. Post pandemic I took on a job outside of my organisation for 11 months to gain more experience and went back to my organisation as I missed it only to find myself in a role that has been terrible and I have stayed there for 7 months.

I am now moving on again and I am worried in the future how these two short term jobs (next to each other) will look to future employers. I have just unfortunately had two experiences that have been next to each other that have not worked out. My current role is a contract role of 9 months but likely to become permanent.

Will I look like a serial job hopper to future employers as its getting me down, not only do I not have a profession as such I also am getting in to the realms I feel of being a job hopper? (or am I being over-dramatic!).

No, you've taken a temp role and that's coming to an end (no need to say it'll be made permanent.

I don't think 2 incidences make a series. Don't overthink it.

@aspirationalflamingo no I didn't think so but I appreciate the reassurance.
