Staff turnover - new starter

Hi all !

I started my new job on Monday and all I’ve seem to have heard everyday is “so and so’s leaving/given in notice” . I’m noticing a lot of staff leaving (inc all my team leaders!) and hearing rumours that the company likes to overload staff with more duties than they can take or fully trained to do.

I’m extremely worried and naturally a bit or an anxious person.

Could someone let me know if they’ve been in a similar position.

thanks

I always find that staff turnover is quite cyclical. Mass exodus and then no one leaves for a while. These people may just have been about a while.

Set boundaries with your workload. Constantly reprioritise when more comes in. And keep up communication with your line management; ask them to prioritise for you if they give you too much at once.
