Second career options with a Maths based degree

Hello all, I am looking for inspiration. I have a 2:1 from a Russell Group uni in an Maths related degree (combined course with Maths as one of the subjects) and have been a Maths teacher all of my working life. I do love my job and it has given me and my family a lot of benefits over the years, not least the flexible working while my children were young. I am now 45 and the children are teenagers, I was wondering about retraining for another career pathway, maybe to start once my youngest has finished school. Any ideas?, ideally something I could train for remotely. I am very adaptable and good at my job but sense a need for something a bit different. For complete disclosure, I wouldn’t mind something that would eventually bring in more money 😉. Husband completely supportive and would pitch in with whatever adjustments would be needed practically.

thanks in advance.

Statistician? Data scientists are also in demand if you have knowledge of R or Python.

I met an ex maths teacher who had retrained in ophthalmology if you like people.

Thank you! I am too squeamish for eyes 😂. I haven’t done much coding but Statistics is my specialism at the moment so could look into that. 🥰
