Should I still go?

So I have been applying for jobs within a school.

I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and I have been given an interview for next week.

I'm not really sure what to do or how I'd be viewed attending an interview while pregnant, has anyone else done this?

Should I be upfront and say I'm pregnant or keep it to myself and let them judge me based on the interview alone. I don't imagine a lot of employers are keen to hire someone who is expecting but then again it could be more common than I think. It's not something I've done before.

What's your thoughts or experiences?

I would still go, but keep the news to yourself. You want to be wanted for you first and then at the other stage if you can let them know

What sort of job is it? Is it a permanent position? I would go if permanent, as presumably you may have many years doing that job. A fixed term where you’ll miss a chunk of it maybe not.

Go for it. Don't tell them until after the offer and then do so in writing

Hi @flowerpot258
I would go to the interview. I would tell them i'm pregnant once offered the job. Good luck at the interview xx

@Overthebow yes it's a permanent job working in a school so I'd say it's defo worth it
