I can tell you it varies massively office to office - the general rule of thumb post covid is 3 days in, two days at home for hybrid working. However I know of CA's who work almost completely from home and also some who come into the office nearly every day.

Sorry I know that probably doesn't help - I think the attitude and perspective of your line manger will be a big factor in what that hybrid working actually looks like

Experienced CA's are such an incredible asset to the service and essential to things running smoothly so you may find once you've been there a while and made yourself invaluable you'll be able to ask for some flexibility Smile

It will vary by PDU and will depend on business needs as CAs in sentence management will need to cover reception too - not so much in courts or other functions. Some PDUs say no WFH unless it is for training during the probationary period (6 months, usually).

@OddBoots Sorry what’s a PDU?
on there job description it did say hybrid working available so fingers crossed

Probation delivery unit - broadly speaking each is a county. There is (in theory) hybrid in any Probabtion role but the amount will vary.

civil service - part time hours

I’ve applied for a cs job that’s advertised as full time/part time. I’m wanting part time, does anyone know what part time hours they offer? I’d preferably like 16-18 hours per week.
