Colleague earning more

Hi,

I work in a small business. Just me and one other colleague running the business.

Our printer is packing up and randomly prints jobs from days / weeks ago.
It just randomly printed a ‘to do list’ which belonged to our accounts lady.

it clearly shows on this list how much my colleague is being paid. And it’s 3.3k more than my wage per year.
We do the same job, and she actually works less hours day me. 3.5 days, whereas I’m full 5 days.

I would definitely say something in normal circumstance however, she is the daughter of the CEO.

im just annoyed. And am struggling to survive with the COL crisis.
I do earn commision, but we’re not doing that well as everyone is tightening their belt. I take home less than 1500. It really is rubbish!

What would you do?
I am actively trying to find another job because the pay is rubbish, but the benefits are good, like wfh.

I'd ask for a payrise so that I'd be getting paid the equivalent rate as your colleague, and I'd also look for a new job.

It is not unusual to find some people that appear to be doing the same job are paid differently, there are all kinds of reasons for this to occur. I would honestly forget that you saw the piece of paper, which you really should not have looked at anyway, and simply ask for a pay rise based on your own merits.
