Notice period

I’ve just started a new job 2 weeks ago that’s self employed but I’ve signed a contract saying I have to give 4 weeks notice. But I just cant do it no more it’s causing me to get really bad anxiety I meant to be in today but said I’ve injured myself yesterday as I can’t bare going back.
Do I have to give notice were I’m self employed or do were I signed a contract. In the pass 48 hours I managed 5 hours of broken sleep due to the stress of going back there

What’s the worst that can happen? They could not give you a reference? You’ll get paid for whatever notice you work.

You just wont be paid your notice. if you’ve only been there a few weeks I wouldn’t even put it on your cv/use them for reference in future
