Confidentiality Breach

A manager showed my chat messages to my colleagues with the intention of ridiculing me. Is this a breach of any kind.

This manager and 2 of her cohorts are now bullying a colleague of mine, who has been confiding in me. Can I report this?

Report to HR. It’s bullying and totally unprofessional behaviour, that businesses should stamp out quickly. Usually results in a note on their file as well as a stern word. Totally unacceptable behaviour from anyone, managers acting like kids!

Yes indeed and now I feel guilty because I didn't put in a formal grievance and now they are tormenting somebody else for no reason whatsoever.
