Does anyone know if I can apply to be redeployed in the NHS? I‘m a band 7 and am currently not in my HCPC registered role as I had to change jobs mid-pandemic. Long story! I was a band 7 a while before this in my own profession but band 6 mostly.
Issue: I hate the job I have taken on. And, there is a severe toxicity in the place - mainly aimed at the manager it is affecting me greatly. I am worried for my job. Certain staff in the place stir up trouble. I’ve never seen anything like it. I have had a great career in the NHS until I took
on this role. I want out.
I have tried getting back into my own field with no luck as nothing in my area (north east). So, I have applied for roles in Manchester and London! How the heck
I am supposed to work in London, I don’t know - but I am desperate to leave this place before as it’s so distressing seeing a permanent witch hunt going on. The workload is ridiculous too.
Anyway, has anyone asked for
redeployment? I have many years of experience in my field and management experience (also quality management). Any ideas how I can escape? I’m on
my own with my daughter and no family alive so really worried for my future.
