Kidney infection day

I’ve been diagnosed with a really painful kidney infection less that 24 hours before I start my new job and I’m unsure of what to do. I’ve been in pain for about a week but was waiting for some test back from my gp, until it got unbearable last night and I ended seeing an out of hours gp. It’s currently early hours and I’m still in a lot of pain and discomfort.

any advice would be helpful as I’m battling my thoughts !

Be honest kidney infections are painful you need rest to recover. They will understand.

Hope it went ok however it went, I cannot judge, sometimes you need proper rest x
