Being pushed out at work? Forced to leave

Hey!
So my company is a small company and a nightmare to work with sometimes as it's so small. Basically we are very understaffed ( I work in management ) and it's been stressful with the additional work load for same pay...
I have been signed off work for a week for stress related to work and due to return next week.
I sorted a rtw meeting with my boss and since then they have sent me an email saying it will also be an investigation due to issues with work practices?!
Are they pushing me out? Why would they send that email when I am already off with work related stress.
I have since found out they have been visiting my contracts finding things I may missed or not done (small minor things)
They already have a tribunal against them from an ex employer and have had 10 managers in the past 5 years.
They bully people into leaving that they don't like. I am upset and angry as I am a hard worker

The problem with one week off with work related stress is that you will not have had enough time to recover properly and nothing will have changed in your workplace in that time.
So you will be going back into exactly same situation that's making you ill.
I would stay signed off sick and apply for new jobs. This place is just going to ruin your health, there's a reason they've had 10 managers in 5 years.
Your health is important, don't let them ruin it

I just can't afford to stay off sick as it would be SSP. I have an interview this week for a job role I really want so fingers crossed! And toes!
