Enhanced dbs

I’m in between jobs and my enhanced is stuck at stage 4 from the 31 May. Has anyone had one done recently and is also waiting? I’m in the north east of England and desperate to start my new job!

You're not alone! Mine has been stuck on stage 4 since 24th May, south east England.

Mime is also stuck on stage 4. Not been as long as May though. Was around the start of June though.

Update it finally got sent out on Friday! Apparently the police have up to 60 days to complete their part then you can chase it 🥹.

Hoping mine isn't far behind then-it's so frustrating. The chasing process can take weeks too, and I don't have that long before the exchange deadline on my house (which is waiting on the DBS to get my mortgage)! It's never taken anywhere near this long before.

Someone else who applied at the same place as me, theirs only took 10 days!

Exchange deadline has passed and I’ve hit 60 days of waiting at stage 4 today. But can’t escalate 😩

Mine is stuck on stage 2!

I managed to escalate mine after 61 days on stage 4, and it finally got printed today.

@LPiper I bet your glad! My job starts 4th September so while I do have some leeway, being stuck on stage 2 isn't ideal!

So relieved! I don’t start until Oct but I couldn’t get a confirmation until this came through, which my mortgage company wanted 😬 so stressful! Hope it moves for you soon!

Thank you @Tracy424 I'm not even at the stage 4 yet, so who knows how long that will take! I presume with it being summer there are lot more applications because of school term (mine is nhs role) what police forces was yours for?

Had a email to say it's being printed (stage 2,3 and 4 all completed today)

That’s fab news! My was nhs role and took 7 weeks in total to come!
