I gave 3 months' notice so I've been "leaving" for ages, but now there's only a week to go.
On paper it's basically the same job I do now. A practice manager type role where I'm responsible for finance, admin, HR, premises and H&S. I'm currently with a LA and this is a charity. It is a lot more money.
However, the job seems smaller. Budget is about half the size, about 10% of the staff I'm used to dealing with, I have 3 direct reports where I currently have 15, leased offices where I currently have a whole building to manage and maintain..
I'm getting that if something seems to good to be true feeling....
I know LA jobs don't pay well, but it's not that bad and why would a small charity be paying so much more?
