Having a wobble about new job

I gave 3 months' notice so I've been "leaving" for ages, but now there's only a week to go.

On paper it's basically the same job I do now. A practice manager type role where I'm responsible for finance, admin, HR, premises and H&S. I'm currently with a LA and this is a charity. It is a lot more money.

However, the job seems smaller. Budget is about half the size, about 10% of the staff I'm used to dealing with, I have 3 direct reports where I currently have 15, leased offices where I currently have a whole building to manage and maintain..

I'm getting that if something seems to good to be true feeling....

I know LA jobs don't pay well, but it's not that bad and why would a small charity be paying so much more?

Maybe they’re desperate to retain staff and have some stability. It’ll be fine and, if not, you can always move. Good luck. Have you got your clothes ready?
