Contract Position - pension?

I am trying to get back into the workplace after some time away. Was just wondering if I took a year long maternity contract would I be entitled to the firm's pension for that time period?

Yes. They have to offer it.

Depends, fixed term contract via paye or would you be self employed and invoicing them?

I am on a fixed term contract covering mat leave and am on the company pension but only enrolled after 3 months
