Back at work to different job

Hello!
So I did post a while back about being offered a different job at my company to my original one as I put in a flexible working request to go part time.

While I understand that it was myself who was coming back part time, I wasn't thrilled with the suggestion and it was put in a way that I could have my old job back but that handovers would be a "nightmare"

I took the new job in a different sector which isn't too bad considering I'm not trained for particular department.

My replacement is shady towards me, basically said my old department is doing much better and that she has been given more responsibility than I previously had which I already know isn't true, she is doing the exact same job I trained her to do, using the exact same templates/spreadsheets/media I left for her and in an open plan office, I hear that she is doing my old job to the letter.

I do miss my old department and believe I would progressed. Upon my pregnancy announcement, I was stripped of any progression opportunities and eventually cancelled from meetings. I am feeling a bit sorry for myself but also want to do something about it.

Should I leave once I find a new position in my old department or just gain some experience in this new department and see how it goes?

I don't understand why you would want to go back to the old department if this has all been done to you?

@Quveas obviously I would never go back to old department but would like to go back with another company.
