Feeling gutted.
I had a Teams interview this afternoon for a job I really want and know I can do well. I didn’t shine in this interview- had a really bad day at work and massive headache started beforehand.
They said their plan is to complete these telephone interviews and then let people know soon whether they’ll be called back for a face to face interview. An hour after my interview ended they’d reposted their job vacancy in their Twitter feed.
I’m not getting called back am I.

Doesn't sound like it. Sorry Flowers

Brenna24 · 20/06/2023 20:53

That isn't a good sign unless they have more than 1 post available. Best of luck. I hope that you are wrong.

DontWantToGoToWorkTomorrow · 20/06/2023 21:00

Thanks both.

Looks unlikely. If they haven't told you that and the ad was intentional not a prescheduled thing then are they an organisation you want to work for?

DontWantToGoToWorkTomorrow · 21/06/2023 12:20

is it ever worth an email to them saying ‘thanks for your time. Still interested and happy to answer any further questions’
or shall I just accept it and move on.

I don’t think there’s any harm following up with an email. You never know, the tweet may have been scheduled rather than deliberately posted just after your interview.

crew2022 · 21/06/2023 12:41

Is an email and say I wasn't feeling my best and would love to have an opportunity to demonstrate why I'm a good fit for the role. And say something specific about why you want to work with them

Dinopawus · 21/06/2023 12:44

I work for an organisation that has rolling adverts for people with certain skills, and as a PP said these are set to go out to a schedule.

An advert might not mean what you think it does. I hope not this time. Good luck.

wherearethewindows · 21/06/2023 12:45

Are you sure you want to work for them? I think it's really rude to repost the job without feeding back to you first, I'd never do that.

The chances are someone entirely separate from your interviewer (marketing probably) is posting on their twitter, or they're automatically scheduled to post at certain times.
