I'm recently been promoted and really enjoying my work. The previous team member (whose role I have taken) left due to too much of work and burnout.
I want to make sure that I do not get burnout. Previous manager had delegation issue. Last 20years people are working in micro management structure. I see the work can be easily distributed and everyone can get chance to develop. However, some team members are so use to work in old way that giving them any work would mean they will keep work to themselves. I cannot keep all the work to myself and assign bits and pieces to the team members. It's too much for me.
Any suggestions?
