What jobs do you do working from home either for the NHS or Charity?

Looking to return to work early next year. Eldest in primary school and youngest starting Nursery in September.
So I’ve been doing online courses to update current admin skills.

Looking for something part time initially (3 days).

I regularly look on indeed for jobs but would find it useful to hear what others do working from home in a Admin role.

Thanks so much

What have you done before. There’s a lot of charity jobs which are wfh now. Have a looked on the charityjob.co.uk website. Also on LinkedIn

Charity jobs is great but also look at your local community voluntary service as they often advertise local jobs.

I've got two WFH charity jobs - I do one day a week as Company Secretary for a grant giving trust (role is governance/basic bookeeping/grant assessments/admin), then four days a week as project manager for a charity working with young people (role is a bit of everything: fundraising, volunteer management, service delivery, lots of admin!).

As mentioned about CharityJob is the busiest site for third sector vacancies, you could also look at Third Sector, ACF and the Guardian job pages. Loads of charity jobs are wfh.

If you go to the NHS jobs website and search for all jobs nationwide, then there is a filter option for 'working pattern' which allows you to select roles that are part time or Agile/homeworking

Look at NHS jobs, although most of them in our trust are at least hybrid working if not all office based.

My background is mental health adult nursing and administration.

But I’ve been out of the workforce for about 6+ years now. My skills feel a bit rusty so I’m updating skills and so I feel a little more confident too.

I suppose I am more interested in specific jobs people do from home. Yes, I do regularly check on NHS Jobs website and Charity Jobs. I’m looking for a bit more insight into different roles there might be out there (hope this makes sense).

Coming from a mental health background I am not necessarily looking specifically at mental health charities. I am open to new ideas!

Also with WFH with the NHS I can continue contributing to my existing pension. But I am aware with any new job I can start new pension.

Thank you

Did you have a remote contract drawn up? My remote role can only be offered on a flexi working agreement at local level? They are also wanting me to drive 5 hours to attend induction on site??

You could look at jobs at universities in their well-being/mental health teams.
