HMRC personal statement

I'm applying for G6 role with HMRC and have to write a personal statement. I really need some help!

It's 750 words and there are five criteria I need to meet. And I know about using STAR, but I have no idea if personal statements should use this as a way of providing evidence, or what detail is wanted?

Any help is appreciated! I have the experience for this job and it would be a great fit but I really don't understand this process!

Absolutely use STAR for each competency. HMRC loves boxes being ticked!

Look at the essential criteria and write the statement highlighting your experience for each. That's a good start!
