Please tell me about your interview experiences

I had a job interview on Friday. It didn't go terribly, but I wasn't amazing either. Has anyone experienced this and made it to the next stage?

I guess I'm working out whether to give up all hope now and move on...

As with any interview, it will depend on what the other candidates were like.

I had an interview on Friday and they specifically said "you would fit in amazingly" but they said they'd call on Friday afternoon and they didn't! This is for Local Government :(

I don't think there's any signs or clues tbh!! It all depends on who they interviewed afterwards 😐

Although I once performed awfully in an interview and had a job offer so fingers crossed for you 😊

Hopefully they just ran out of time on Friday and you’ll get some good news this week 🤞🏻 It must feel good to get the positive feedback.

Whenever I've had misgivings after an interview and felt it didn't go that well, I haven't got the job. The times I felt I couldn't have done any better and gave the best examples as I could, I have.

Meant to say it's not worth second guessing it - you'll drive yourself mad. Try your best to distract yourself and hopefully you'll get some good news tomorrow.

I had an interview which I felt went terribly. I was ever so nervous and waffled at lot.
I got the second interview and subsequently the job. Took them bloody ages to get back to me though.

If the Local Government role wasn't point scored then I reckon I'd have it 😬 but I thi know I waffled too much
