Am I doomed here? Waiting for offer

I recently had a few interviews for a job and the feedback was that they liked me and are working to get approvals. 2 weeks on they are still trying to get the approvals. :( Today I got an email saying they are in some internal discussions before the last approvals?

What does this even mean?

I was so hopeful and happy and now 2 weeks on I'm a wreck and just am thinking they will never reach the offer stage. :(

Do I keep hoping or it is a lost cause?

Just an update ... they eventually made me an offer and I have no idea what to do with myself. :) I have some long days ahead of me trying to make this decision.

Hi @Vivi0120 - this thread is so old now, but I have stumbled across it. What did you do in the end? Hope you are happy wherever we you ended up!

@echosun Their offer wasn't very lucrative, it was more work for same money, so I decided it's not worth it. I have no regrets staying where I am. :) Financially and mentally it's definitely the better choice.
