A promotion opportunity has come up at work. I think I know my choice but I’m keen to get other perspectives.
Pros
Self-actualisation. I’ve always been ambitious.
A chance to show to others and myself what I can achieve
More money, but probably not much
Cons
Less time with my child ☹️
More stress
Less time to focus on the part of the job I enjoy most
I’m not sure I would actually enjoy the tasks involved
Any thoughts please?
