So I've been having a lot of issues with my job, I'm only in it two months after being made redundant from a job I'd been in for almost 10 years. The job isn't really a great fit for me, totally new, and although I've settled in fine its just not for me, add to that the work has dried up and they've laid 5 people off already, How I didn't go I don't know but they must think I'm doing something right.

Got a call yesterday out of the blue from a job I had contacted months back when I learned I was going to be made redundant, went for the interview yesterday, Job is perfect, its what I've done all my life so no training required but a few alarm bells went off. The interviewer who was the manager bad mouthed a few employees saying they weren't performing well enough, I didn't like that myself, secondly, he went on about we need xxx amount done each day which makes me think this is gonna be a high-pressure type of thing with someone on your back, I don't like that either, I perform best when left alone to get on with it in my own time, Oh and got offered the job, said I'd think about it over the weekend.

So as I say not overly convinced really, what would you do?

Do you think they'd already hired someone following the original job advert and the person didn't stay long????
Tbh if I was put off by things at interview stage, when you are both supposed to be putting your best side forward and sell yourselves, that would be a red flag for me. You already feel the way he manages the staff may not suit how you work best.

You've been offered 2 jobs since you were made redundant so that's very positive. I would hang off for something else
