Need an office for a day

I'm in need of an office for one day to do some filming. It is for the following..

We are in need of help with our filming location.
Our short film 'The Hit', tells of a crime boss who discovers his young wife is having an affair and he plots to have both his wife and her lover 'disappeared', however, even for the great Edward Blackwell, things don't go quite to plan.

We are looking for a home office or a business office, HOWEVER, it must be a single-person office (suitable for a modern crime boss), rather than a multi-person shared office or boardroom (which people have been suggesting).
The filming will take no more than a day (6hrs maximum)
There are a couple of film festivals coming up soon and the deadlines are getting closer, so we'd love to get this film made and submitted, but we are struggling to find a suitable location.
We are based in Manchester, but we really don't mind where it's located (within reason, and affordability)

The project has a very minimal budget so any help or offers if you have or know such a location would be terrific.

We would be very grateful for any help/suggestions

There must be plenty of Manchester/Cheshire homes with swanky home offices. Aren't there agencies that specialise in homes for location filming?

For a corporate single-person office, worth approaching commercial property companies, they may have a city-centre rental that's between tenants or available for day rent.

There’s a film office in Manchester, ask them? Or ask the unis - One of them does film and TV I am pretty sure so someone will know about locations. Or try the BBC, there’s a decent chance they will take pity on you and let you come in on a weekend.

What about somewhere like WeWork not sure if they have a Manchester offering - at the same time it’s easy to hire out an office if you really need one.

Airbnb? Or a home rental firm?

I’m guessing your budget reference means these don’t work, but they are what you need, really.

If you go the Airbnb route; remember to let them know that you’re filming.

And don’t forget about insurance.

Thanks for the suggestions, will look into them. The places we have found have either been out of budget, unfurnished at won't rent for just one day

There are tonnes of offices to rent, we have offices in a basepoint building and they have plenty of day offices people can rent for meetings etc. there are basepoint all over the U.K. and many other similar companies.

Just ask at one of the universities. Maybe post on the HE board here?
