Terms changing after returning from Mat Leave

Looking for advice…I’m back from Mat leave and my employer is looking to change my package (remove company car). My understanding is that I’m protected on returning to same role/terms but how long does this protection last? Thanks

Has your role fundamentally changed (at your choice) meaning you longer require one? Are they offering money in lieu of the car because they are being phased out? If not ask more questions?

Company has been acquired so yep some fundamental changes. I expect my title will change but role remains the same with a team reporting to me. All very messy and unconfirmed as yet.

Acquiring company are phasing out the cars, I had a clause stating I would get a monthly payment in lieu but it seems they don’t want to go out this

Drip feed not intentional, always unsure how much detail to give in initial post

@Starlight2021 was it a TUPE transfer? If so you need specialist advice as this is complex.

if they are changing everyone’s package to remove the company car and following a proper process, you have the same rights as other employees. If you are being singled out, then it’s potentially maternity discrimination.
