Personal Statement Help

Hello,

I am currently revamping my CV and personal statement for it but I've hit a brick wall as to how to word it in the most positive light. I've basically 30 years experience in healthcare both in support worker roles (less time) and in administration roles.Do I advertise myself as Jack of all trades or as an experienced healthcare worker? Thanks 😊

Adjust it for each application. Do a master cv with all the relevant info and then edit it to two pages and focus on what each role is looking for.

You need to tailor to the role you are applying for.

Agree with the first post - change the personal statement depending on what you’re applying to. I also like to keep mine quite short. Realistically they’ll know you’re an experienced healthcare worker from your work history, and they’ll know you’re punctual/hardworking/a team player from your references.

Yes, as the others have said. Tailor it to r
each application, emphasising different aspects of your experience according to what they're looking for.

You rewrite for each application. I assume you mean a paragraph on your Cv? If so, I wouldn’t bother. More places use application forms now so not worth spending too much time on CV. And cover letter should be specific to each job

Thanks for your replies. I agree these days it's generally all application forms but figured if was time to sort my CV as well.
