What do I do

I've been struggling with my work for a while now, not the job itself, the staff I work alongside and the maintenance staff. Without being too outing, the maintenance staff have quite a big presence during the day so it's a pain when they're just not really nice people. This is an all round opinion, not just mine. Anyway, I've been looking for other jobs and have found something I like, closer by 25 miles and I would be in a much better routine with the new shifts. The pay is about 7K less but with the drop in commute/petrol costs, the routine I'll be in, close to school for drop offs which I haven't done for over 10 years, it wouldn't be terrible to drop the money. I've been guaranteed a promotion at the end of the year which would increase my wage by 10k but I just don't know if I want to keep working shifts forever.
Anyone else dropped wages but gained benefits? Is it worth it?
I've had such amazing feedback from clients these last few days and I feel like it's a sign to stay where I am.
Help!!

I would take it if I were you. Horrible colleagues make or break a job. Being so much closer to home would be worth the pay drop to me. You may find the shifts ok, but you can always look for another job if you can’t get on with them. Good feedback from clients is nice to receive, but at the end of the day, your colleagues are who you are with every day, and bad ones are draining.

You're absolutely right. The odd bit of positive feedback isn't worth the bad stuff every single day.... today has cemented just how much others can impact my day. Weather warnings and a 40 minute commute is not helping either! Thank you so much ☺️
