Hi I have a civil service interview coming up one of the thing I'll be tested on is making effective decisions. What possible questions could the ask me?

It’ll be a competency based interview - look online for example questions. Bit possible questions are when have you had to make a finely balanced decision, when have you had to make a decision that was unpopular or controversial. Don’t over think it - people think they have to come up with outlandish, complex decisions - it doesn’t have to be something like that. Could be from your life outside work. could be something or do with your family or children.
