Crossover of employment

Is this possible under redundancy?

If I have an official contract end date, but have two weeks holiday to take in that time? Can I start employment elsewhere during that holiday period?

I'm thinking probably not, but would appreciate confirmation or otherwise!

Thanks

Can you get pilon so your end date is beforehand? You may forfeit redundancy entitlement otherwise.

Nobody can answer that, because it will depend upon your particular employer rather than legislation.

How you choose to use your leave is up to you. If you choose to work somewhere else that is fine. There will be tax and NI implications, talk to HMRC and they will sort it out.

Depending on your employer, consider explaining the situation and asking if they will bring forward your leaving date and pay for your leave.
