What would be considered a respectable income (gross pay) monthly

Whats you say 2500 gross pcm?

I get 3k a month because I do a LOT of overtime. I put 1k into savings and try to save a bit more from whats left. I've got 7 years left to retirement and really need to save for it.

Yeah I think 2500pcm after tax is a great salary. I wouldn’t mind 2000pcm but having that extra 500 a month means luxuries / savings

I get 1700 after tax and pension. This is 33k for me (but obviously people's pensions vary)
