A friend was offered a job and it’s now been 7 weeks of the company barely being in contact, her constantly chasing them, and she still doesn’t have a start date and contract.
A job came up in the same company that has been advertised on the main job sites on and off for 2-3 months now. I applied through the advert on their website nearly 4 weeks ago but heard nothing until today when I received an email saying ‘further to our conversation your phone interview will be as follows..’.
I’ve never spoken to anyone there- do they have me confused with someone else and why has it taken 4 weeks to supposedly shortlist? Is it a red flag that the job is going on and off Indeed and Glass Door etc for 2-3 months now? It’s a p/t admin job so shouldn’t be hard to fill. Along with my friend’s experience I’m just feeling red flags all over this company (they are known in their industry). Or maybe they are very disorganised, super fussy..? I’ve never known such messing around and delays in recruitment for any company I’ve worked for.
