Currently work in finance, not sure I want to for next 25/30 years.

What do you recommend, pays at least £2k per month take home.

A lot of ,helping people' jobs are not highly paid sadly. Some civil service or social work roles might get you close to that take home.

if You are currently in finance, what about accountancy exams?

I've just got a job, there were loads of account manager jobs which is what I will be doing. WFH 45k pro rata sign up for indeed. Account management is helping people with a bit of soft sales thrown in for a small commission element.

I moved from finance to be a school business manager and have recently secured a job as Operations Director with an education charity. On schools I mostly worked in schools in "challenging" areas which I found far more rewarding than looking after privileged kids.

Entry level jobs in schools are badly paid, so you may need to step back short term, but as SBM in a large school I earn a lot more than £2k pm.
