How to overcome this behaviour?

I usually get great reviews and have managed to do well in my career so far.

There’s one behaviour of mine which bothers me in performing when workload is busy - I spend more time getting worried than actually doing the tasks. I plan my things to do, I do them well but I’m constantly worried that it will be not done right. Is there a way to overcome this worry and focus on the tasks??

Sounds a bit like Imposter Syndrome OP: "a psychological occurrence in which people doubt their skills, talents, or accomplishments and have a persistent internalized fear of being exposed"

It sounds like you don't mentally trust your own ability in your job and it's causing you anxiety. If it's getting to the point where it is taking up a significant proportion of your mental energy and is having practical implications in that you're finding less time to spend working, I'd definitely look into have it addressed properly with maybe some counselling or even speaking to work?

I understand it's nerve wracking though, the idea of explaining something like this!
