Should I look elsewhere?

I've worked for my local council for 19 years in different departments. Generally stayed in each role on average 4-6years.Pre covid I mover to another department and was only there 2 years before moving into my shortest role of 10 months (a move outside the council and not for me). I have moved again into a different sector in another council and absolutely hate it, such a toxic culture and what seems like a bullying team. Am pretty resilient but I know long term this is going to impact my wellbeing and mental health. I've only been there 2 months but intelligent enough so know this is not going to get better, the management structure and culture is dire.

Should I move on if something else is appealing? This will potentially be my second shortest stint working in local government. Will it look bad or will the fact that I've stayed in other roles for long periods of time be of benefit? Advice please

It's totally fine to look elsewhere. If a short length of employment is a big deal for a new employer they won't hire you! So there is no harm in looking elsewhere.

I've moved around a lot and had to change jobs a lot. I used to find that really embarrassing bit actually, I am (not to blow my own trumpet) really good at picking things up quickly in a way I don't think I would have been if I'd stayed in my first job out of university for twenty years or something. The downside is I'm a jack of all trades, master of none!
