I work part time, term time only and looking for ways to boost my income. I love animals and have lots of my own so thought I could perhaps offer to do pet care eg feeding small animals whilst owners are away, opening/ closing curtains etc. I'm also happy to do dog walking/ check ins in the evenings, weekends and school holidays but think this might come with more insurance/ registration requirements. I've registered on Rover but don't think this is very well known.
I wouldn't have any animals in my home.
Does anyone do anything like this? If so, any advice on starting out would be much appreciated!
I'm already registered for self assessments so any income would be declared and tax paid- it's more info on regulations/ insurance and liabilities plus advertising etc I'm struggling to find info on.
