Will I be unemployable?

Due back to work next month. Absolutely can’t bear the idea of putting baby in nursery at this age. It’s “just” two days a week but that’s how I feel. Don’t come at me if you have other opinions on nursery pls✌🏻
However, if I quit my job and take another year off, will I be completely unemployable? I’m in NHS admin (medical sec).
Has anyone taken two years and been able to get part time work again afterwards?

@Travelfan2021

I did, it was easy.

Did you have to do any re-training, degree or pgce, if you were switching careers from admin to teaching? Because I would suggest that would be anything but easy given the time and expense.

You definitely won't be unemployable at all! Work will always be there - time at home with your baby won't so go for it.
I'm NHS admin, and I had 5 years off when my girls were small - when I was ready to get back in I joined a temp agency and just part-time temped for a few years to fit round them, and then when I was ready for something permanent I just started going on interviews having relevant current work experience to talk about 😊

Thanks everyone. A lot to think about!
