Civil service ONS question

Hi,
I've recently accepted a job at the Office for national statistics which I'm really excited about, though I've never worked for the CS before. The advert stated hybrid working and the interview panel suggested possibly one day in the office is the norm. I'm just wondering if it's likely that during an induction/training period I may be in the office every day for several weeks? Seriously considering withdrawing as the nearest office is 90 mins away. Fine for once a week but not every day, even for a short time with childcare logistics.
I'm currently undergoing security checks and don't have the name of a manager or anyone I can contact.
Any experience welcome! Thnak you.

I would contact the name on the job advert to email and clarify. It should be still there in your car jobs account. 😀

I'd say it's really unlikely you'll be expected in the office loads at first. What's the job?

Thanks all! The email contact is a generic one and I received a generic reply stating that office attendance is in line with business need. They've asked me this week for a start date and I still don't feel like I know what I'll be doing at all 😂
The advert is very civil service language but it's a HR role with staff development (I think!)
