NHS or Council

I have 2 job opportunities to look at

One being a nursing assistant within NHS, the other being a home carer with the local council (I'm in Scotland)

Can anyone who does either of these jobs say the pros and cons?

NHS for the pension.

Council pension is better but I would go for NHS. The training will be far better. Adult social care is dire at the moment.

I imagine the NHS will offer more training and more opportunities to move to different roles, but I'd apply for both
