Healthcare Support Worker on District Nursing team - any advice?

Just wondered if anyone here has any advice on being a HCSW in a district nursing or community nursing team?

I have been offered a role and am nervous about what it could be like!

I have worked in home care before and I loved aspects of it but found it difficult trying to keep visits to tight timescales and dashing from place to place. I've worked in care homes and hospitals since.

I think this will be very different from home care, and I'm looking forward to being in an NHS team, having a base and hopefully learning a lot and getting to do some training to up my skills, but I keep worrying that it will be the same challenges with lone working and impossible visit times.

Has anyone done a role like this? Any insights welcome!
