Civil service ONS

I've passed an interview with the ONS for a SEO role. I'm still quite confused about what the job might actually involve and the interview didn't really help with that. I'm not sure if it's more management or more technical. Does anyone work there and could help me please?

This will be impossible for anyone to answer, SEO is a grade used across the civil service, even within an organisation it could be technical or just management (or both). Can you contact the hiring manager to discuss the role? I nearly always do this between being offered and accepting a role, to be sure I understand the expectations (good time to clarify questions around terms etc too).
