If you failed at your job

Just that really, looking for positive stories. For a few personal reasons my performance has been off and I'm feeling terrible about it. Did this happen to you? Were you able to fix the problems and advance in your career?

Yep, I had a dream job and they pushed me out the same year my 10 year marriage ended. I have gone back to uni, embarked successfully on a new career and have a small child with a new partner.

Your resilience is really important. You can roll over and feel sorry for yourself or you can dust yourself off and make this just one small piece of your story. Flowers

If you do want to stay in the job, you need to acknowledge where you've gone wrong and give your line manager a clear plan with timeframes to get your performance up. Unless they are cruel and you've only been there less than 2 years, most people will with with you.
