Company in administration - husband didn't get paid

Hi everyone,

My husband worked for this company until 5th of March. On 10th of March he was due salary from 1st of Feb until 1st of March. Plus the rest of the days in March due on 10th April.
On the 8th of March he received a letter saying that the company is now in administration and they will receive only 50% of their salary on the 10th March (as a loan) and a reference number so they can make a claim from the government for their full salary, then give the 50% back to them.
Well when the 10th came, he did not receive anything. No money, no reference number. They are not replying to his emails, phone calls.
They are still operating as a business and the other employees have received the 50% and reference number.
My husband even email the company that took them under administration. He has now decided to contact ACAS. Do you have any experience with them as looking at the reviews... I am quite worried.

Many thanks

Speak to ACAS, they're best placed to offer advice, maybe Citizen's Advice too. I'd also enquire re: benefits that he may be entitled to such as JSA, etc
