To stay part time or go full time?

I am currently working 3 days per week earning around 52k, I had a few interviews for full time jobs paying double of my current salary. The problem is that I have a 16 months old who I look after and have lovely time with working part time. If I go full time, he will be 5 days in nursery. My heart says to stay part time and enjoy time with my young child while head says the new opportunities will be great for my career and family's future. I am really torn between my head and heart. Can you please add your views on this. Thanks

You’ll know when you’re ready to up your hours and it’s not yet.

I’ve just gone up to four days and my baby is three. I’m contemplating five days in September.

In your shoes I would stay PT for now.
You get a decent salary and time with your child, it all changes when they hit school age and I count myself very lucky that I got to spend so much time with my 2 before then

If 52k is enough for now and full time opportunities will also be there in future, I'd stay put. You can always try in few years time. But I'm biased as I don't work full time and have no intention of ever returning full time unless I have to.

Stay part time if you can afford it. They’re not little for long.

I would stay part time. The lovely days out I had with DS, hardly any rushing around as I had time and the memories I have now he's older are priceless.

Obviously if you need the money and couldn't manage on part time hours my advice would be different.
