If you were interviewing somewhere and they asked you, we know what you are on but think about what you'd need to move how would you interpret that. Do you think they are planning to offer you lower than what you currently make or are expecting you to negotiate a wage increase?

HR should be getting in touch shortly I hope but how would you interpret that discussion

I'd see it as them asking for how much more money you'd want to leave. I would definitely be expecting an offer with a higher salary than my current salary

Thanks that's how I understood it at the time but I think waiting now has me paranoid!
